On my travels

Today I have been traveling around to a different county to process worm egg counts and on my travels I was astouneded by the amount of ragwart where animals were grazing (not at he yards I visited may I add but on my travels)   Is it that people do not know the risks about this deadly weed or is that they do not care. Horses tethered amongst thousands of plants shoulder high rubbing up against them, little foals having to forage amongst it when they already have a poor immunity. I have seen horses die of liver failure due to Ragwart it can be a slow process if not recognised. I cannot believe what these horses were having to deal with in there short little lives.
